CoreLogic Economist Kaytlin Ezzy (pictured above) identified that the rise in homebuilding bills within the latter half of 2024 was largely pushed by escalating prices in labour, in addition to hikes in costs for electrical and plumbing fixtures, landscaping merchandise, kitchen joinery, and specialised timber.
